This past week went by so fast but was so fun. On Tuesday we were on our way to an appointment and starting talking to a guy that had just moved here from Honduras. He told us that he would love to come to church. On Sunday Hugo brought him and his daughter! Speaking of Hugo... This week we taught him the plan of salvation and set a baptismal date with him for the 16th of January. I'm so excited.
On Christmas Eve we ate tamales and went caroling with a big group of missionaries in the woodlands. We showed the new church video and talked to a bunch of people. On Christmas we didn't eat tamales but one of my favorite families from my last ward came up to my area and made us dinner. It was so fun and so good to see them again. Talking to the family was really good. I love you guys.
A few weeks ago we went to the temple and were challenged by our mission president to pray and receive guidance as to what we could give to the savior this year. He spoke to us again a few days ago and told us that what we should give is our best. That was the answer I received in the temple. I am striving to give my all to show my gratitude. I have seen so many miracles this week and I know it is because I have given my all to the Lord. I have received so much more than I have given.
