The Gospel Blesses Families

I had the opportunity to attend a funeral this week. It was so amazing to see the optimism and understanding of the family. They talked about the plan of salvation as well as the temple. It was so cool to hear the words of the family and especially the words of her husband. It reminded me of Grandma and Grandpa's funeral and the bittersweet feeling that I felt then. Families can be together forever.

I had a really sweet experience the other day. I had the feeling to visit a few girls we teach the other day. We went over and something had happened within the family. The girls were devastated. We sang hymns with them and ate ice cream and after, they gave us the biggest hugs ever. I felt the Savior's love for them in the moment so
strongly.

Heavenly Father taught me so much about the family this week. It is the source of all the happiness I have in my life. I am so grateful that I am sealed to my family forever. I gain so much strength from that. I am grateful that I get to help others have their families for the eternities.

"Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded
upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ."
